School Age Fees

A fee agreement for each child must be completed in the office.

One month's written notice is required when you withdraw your child from school-age programs.

We accept cash, cheques (payable to Spare Time) and bank e-transfers.

Administration fee is a one-time $50 non-refundable fee to register.

School-age child care fees are consistent every month even though there are a varying amount of attendance days. The monthly fees include Before and After School Programs, early dismissal school days and teacher professional days – see “included” list below. The fees do not include 14 full days when DLG school is not in session – see “not included” list below. The monthly fees include breakfast (until 8:30 am) and afternoon snack. The monthly and full day fees also include lunch.

The school-age fee schedule is from September 3, 2024 to June 27, 2025:
* Explorers Club (Kindergarten) is $571.00 per month.
* Explorers Club (Grade 1) is $571.00 per month.
* Discovery Club / Adventure Club (Grades 2 to 7) are $520.00 per month.
* Full Days are $65.00 per day.

Fees for children enrolled in October 2024 or later in the school year will be pro-rated to an equal average for the remaining attendance days to June 27th, 2025.

Included in monthly fees are 5 early dismissal days and 7 non-school days. The DLG days are:
* September 5, 2024: early dismissal day
* September 20, 2024: professional day
* October 23 and 24, 2024: early dismissal days
* October 25, 2024: professional day
* November 22, 2024: professional day
* January 20, 2025: professional day
* February 5 and 6, 2025: early dismissal days
* February 14, 2025: professional day
* April 28, 2025: professional day
* June 27, 2025: professional day

Not included in monthly fees are 14 full days. These DLG days are:
* winter break: 4 days December 30 and 31, 2024 (*subject to change dependent on enrollment numbers) and January 2 and 3, 2025
* spring break: 10 days from March 17 to 28, 2025

Please note the centre is closed for winter break from December 23 to 27, 2024
